# Viga refrigerada

**Descripción ISO 16739-1:2018:** Un IfcCooledBeam es un dispositivo que generalmente se usa para enfriar el aire haciendo circular un fluido como el agua enfriada a través de tubos con aletas expuestos sobre un espacio. Por lo general, se monta sobre la cabeza cerca de un techo o dentro de él, el IfcCooledBeam utiliza la convección para enfriar el espacio debajo de él al actuar como un disipador de calor para el aire cálido que asciende naturalmente del espacio. Una vez enfriado, el aire vuelve a caer de forma natural al suelo, donde el ciclo comienza de nuevo.
