# Bobina

**Descripción ISO 16739-1:2018:** Un IfcCoil es un dispositivo que se utiliza para proporcionar transferencia de calor entre medios que no se mezclan. Un ejemplo común es un serpentín de enfriamiento, que utiliza un serpentín con aletas en el que circula agua fría, anticongelante o refrigerante que se usa para eliminar el calor del aire que se mueve por la superficie del serpentín. Se puede usar un serpentín para calentar o enfriar colocando una serie de tubos (el serpentín) que transportan un fluido de calentamiento o enfriamiento en una corriente de aire. El serpentín puede construirse con tubos agrupados en forma de serpentina o con tubos con aletas que proporcionan una superficie de transferencia de calor extendida
