# Edificio

**Descripción ISO 16739-1:2018:** Un IfcBuilding representa una estructura que proporciona refugio a sus ocupantes o contenidos y se encuentra en un solo lugar. El edificio también se utiliza para proporcionar un elemento básico dentro de la jerarquía de la estructura espacial para los componentes de un proyecto de edificio (junto con el sitio, el piso y el espacio).
